The SNAP-B8M rack mounts a compatible SNAP brain (such as the serial B3000 or the SNAP-UP1-ADS) and eight SNAP I/O modules. Analog, digital, and serial modules can be mixed on the same rack. Field devices are wired to top-mounted removable connectors on the SNAP I/O modules. This rack also provides a pluggable, screw-type terminal strip for field wiring common connections such as loop power distribution.
